Rammstein is a German industrial metal band from Berlin, formed in 1994. Their songs are usually in German, but they have also performed songs entirely or partially in other languages such as English, Spanish, French and Russian.
Oomph! is a German rock band that was formed in Wolfsburg, Germany in 1989 and is often considered to be the original Neue Deutsche Härte musical group. In the 21-year history of the band, there have been no line-up changes. Oomph! incorporates many styles of music such as metal, industrial, alternative rock, electronica and gothic to create their sound. Oomph! nspired numerous musicians, most famously Rammstein, Megaherz and Eisbrecher to follow their lead.
Megaherz
Megaherz is an industrial metal group formed in Munich, Germany in 1993. Megaherz began as a musical project of Alexx Wesselsky (the actual band leader of Eisbrecher).Megaherz has gone through many changes in musical style since their founding. The first example of the band's step towards industrial metal was their third album, Kopfschuss ("Headshot"), released in 1998.
Eisbrecher
Eisbrecher is a German industrial metal band that consists primarily of Alexander Wesselsky and Noel Pix. After leaving Megaherz due to creative differences in 2003, Wesselsky got together with Noel Pix, who composed the synths and programming for Megaherz's albums Himmelfahrt and Kopfschuss. The band's name translates from German to "Icebreaker". The band's lyrics and slogans often include terms of ice and sailing.
